McGraw-Hill shutters Rockport office

A Rockport publishing office of McGraw-Hill Companies is closing, leaving five full-time employees without jobs.

International Marine and Ragged Mountain Press, which publishes nautical and outdoor adventure titles for New York-based McGraw-Hill, will continue to operate but will offer a limited selection of titles, the news website VillageSoup.com reported. Two employees will continue to work from home.

The office closure and reduced staff is part of McGraw-Hill's corporate-wide restructuring to reduce costs, the website reported.
