Michaud asks manufacturers for data
Congressman Mike Michaud has created an online survey he says will help him collect data that could lead to new legislation supporting manufacturers.
The online survey asks Maine manufacturers why they choose to make their products in Maine and what types of federal policies could help them succeed, according to a press release from Michaud.
"The feedback from this survey will help me communicate to my colleagues in Congress what challenges our manufacturers face and what makes them decide to keep their production here in our country," Michaud says in the release. He says he is also touring Maine manufacturers, as well as collecting their feedback online, to help him advocate for policy changes.
