The Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce hosted a number of ribbon-cuttings in recent months.
Four ribbon-cuttings were held in Presque Isle.
County Roots Children’s Dentistry LLC opened at 181 Academy St., Suite 4.
The ribbon was cut for the new location of Raven Center, managed by community organization County Cares, at 18 Roberts St.
Mary and Dean Lawrence, the originators of the Raven Center, joined the event, the organization posted on Facebook.
The organization thanked Getchell Property Management, Freedom Church of Maine, A New Start case management services, Presque Isle Housing Authority, the Masons of Mars Hill, Presque Isle Rotary, Jeff Ashby, the Chamber of Commerce, the Presque Isle Town Council and town manager and artist Donna Crary, who made a new sign for the organization.
Bike Board and Ski Team Sports opened at 450 Main St., offering bikes, gear for snow sports, apparel, accessories and parts.
Elevator renovations were completed at the Northeastland Hotel at 436 Main St.
In Caribou, Fifty 8 & Maine opened a gift shop at 81 Sweden St. and in Washburn, the chamber hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate the unveiling of the Battle Cross honoring war casualties.
