New hires

Maine Behavioral Healthcare in South Portland hired Jason Rosenburg, as chief nursing officer. Rosenberg, a fellowship-trained nurse leader, was previously director of inpatient services at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway.

The Maine Broadband Coalition hired Myles Smith as executive director. Smith most recently served as vice president of strategic and financial planning at Internews, an international news nonprofit.

Gorham Savings Bank hired Matt White as vice president, commercial banker. White, who has 10 years of banking experience, was most recently with Key Bank.

Verrill, a law firm in Portland, hired William Townshend as an associate in the firm’s private clients and fiduciary services group.

Camden National Bank hired James Dell’Anno as senior vice president, director of mortgage banking and consumer lending. Dell’Anno was vice president director of sales at North Easton Bank.

Fontaine Family, an Auburn real estate firm hired Dustin Allard as a licensed sales agent in Auburn.

Brann & Isaacson, a law firm in Lewiston, hired Meghan Myers as an associate attorney focusing on estate planning, estate and trust administration and real estate. Previously, Myers was an associate attorney at Lambert Coffin.

Evernorth, a nonprofit in Portland that provides affordable housing and community investments in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, hired Josh McIntyre as vice president of capital management.

Promotions

Covetrus, an animal-health technology and services company in Portland, promoted Margie Pritchard to general counsel and corporate secretary. Previously, Pritchard served as vice president, deputy counsel.

Landry/French Construction in Scarborough promoted Brian Laybourne to project executive. Laybourne has 20 years of experience in commercial construction.

Norway Savings Bank promoted Carter Lessard to branch manager and mortgage loan officer in Windham.

Evernorth, a nonprofit in Portland that provides affordable housing and community investments in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, promoted Eric Schmitt to COO and Sherrin Vail to vice president of asset management and portfolio initiatives.

Achievements

Penobscot Financial Advisors in Portland said that Sam Chaplin, associate portfolio manager, obtained his Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Maxim Healthcare Services named Sharon Verreault as its “John “Doc” Langley National Caregiver of the Year” award winner. Verreault is a nurse in Maxim’s Portland office.

Geiger, a promotional products distributor in Lewiston, presented its “2nd Quarter Geiger Star Awards” to Mike McFadden, Gi Goulart and Charlene Allvey. The Customer Advocate Team of Corporate Programs consisting of Kellie Dury, Kimberly Haseltine, Kari McElroy, Jessica Baker, Sabrina Bureau, Pam Morris and Andrea Sands were also recognized.

Bangor Municipal Golf Course said it has retained its designation as a “Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary” through the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses, an Audubon International program.

MaineGeneral Health in Augusta announced that it was recognized as one of the “Best-in-State Employers 2022” according to Forbes and Statista Inc.
