Norway Savings Bank has appointed Rachael Billings as vice president and senior trust officer of its asset management group.
Billings will provide guidance to help individuals, families and organizations meet their financial goals.
She will also assist with trust and estate planning and financial planning for retirement or other life events.
Billings brings 19 years of financial services experience to her position. During the last decade, her work has focused on trust and wealth management.
Prior to joining Norway Savings, she was a wealth relationship manager for Camden National Bank. She previously held several management positions at Bangor Savings Bank.
Billings received a bachelor’s degree in international affairs and political science from the University of Maine in 2004 and obtained her certified trust and fiduciary advisor designation in 2018. She is an active member of the Maine Estate Planning Council.
Norway Savings Bank, which is based in Norway and has 24 Maine offices, has $1.85 billion in total deposits. It ranked No. 7 among Maine-based banks with the largest market share according to the 2024 Mainebiz Book of Lists, based on deposits as of June 30, 2023.
