Pirates, civic center reach agreement

The Portland Pirates and the Cumberland County Civic Center have reached a deal that will keep the hockey team in the city.
The civic center's trustees unanimously approved a new lease deal with morning, according to the Portland Press Herald. No other details were available. A press conference is scheduled for later today.
The team had been negotiating with the Times Union Center in Albany to move the team there, but those talks ended earlier this week.
