Portland PR firm adds partner with state politics chops
The Resurgam Group, a public relations firm in Portland, has expanded its team with the addition of Max Rush as a partner.
Rush brings more than a decade in politics and public policy, including general and special elections campaigns.
“After years of campaign work and public service, I am excited to bring my skill set and years of experience to my new role with the Resurgam Group,” said Rush.
“The team at Resurgam is an incredible group of people that I have had the opportunity to share many political successes with. I look forward to joining them in this new context and building on their strong reputation for representing their clients inside and outside the State House.”
Rush most recently served as chief of staff to Maine Senate President Troy Jackson, D-Aroostook.
The Aroostook county native received his bachelor’s degree in political science and government history from the University of Maine.
“Max brings his common sense approach and years of experience on the Maine political scene to the table, and we are thrilled to have him join the team,” said BJ McCollister, president and founder of the Resurgam Group and a 2022 Mainebiz 40 Under 40 honoree.
