Kemp Goldberg Partners, an advertising, public relations and interactive agency, has opened an office in Washington, D.C., dedicated to its new public affairs practice.
The company, headquartered in Portland, said the office will allow it to better serve public affairs clients by being nearer to legislators, policymakers and regulators, according to a release from the company.
"Our public affairs purview takes us wherever our clients require advocacy, reputation management and stakeholder engagement, including inside the Beltway, state and local campaigns and on the web," says Derek LaVallee, director of public relations and public affairs at Kemp Goldberg Partners, in the release. LaVallee was a former staff member at the White House and in the Office of the Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon during the Clinton administration.
The new office is located at 2025 M Street NW in downtown Washington, D.C. The company launched its public affairs practice about a year ago.
