The former Planet Toys location in downtown Rockland will soon be home to the New England regional real estate and home ownership firm, Better Homes and Gardens, the Masiello Group.
Renovations are currently underway at the 4,000-square-foot space that Planet Toys occupied from late 2003 until its closure in late December, according to the Bangor Daily News.
Masiello Group CEO Chris Masiello told the BDN that the 318 Main St. location was chosen so the real estate firm can be part of the coastal city’s business community.
The 25 employees who currently work at both the Rockland and Camden offices will be moving to the new location, which is expected to open in May.
In addition to its Camden and Rockland offices, Better Homes and Gardens, the Masiello Group has 33 offices in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.
