Reed & Reed lands Mass wind project

Reed & Reed in Woolwich has been selected to build a $10 million wind power project in Massachusetts.
The Berkshire Wind Power Cooperative Corp. chose the Maine construction company to build its 15 megawatt project in the western Massachusetts town of Hancock. Reed & Reed was awarded the $10 million contract in a competitive bidding process. The work is scheduled to begin this summer and to be completed in 2010.
Reed & Reed has positioned itself as a specialist in the wind energy industry, having completed construction of the Stetson Wind Power Project in Washington County and currently constructing the Kibby Wind Power Project in northern Franklin County.
