Small-business incubator established in Waldoboro
A small-business development space called BugTussle Brooder has been established at the former Fieldcrest Manor Nursing Home in Waldoboro.
The Lincoln County News reported that the incubator — established by Seth Hall, of Waldoboro, and his daughter, Jerusha, and comprising 20,600 square feet of usable space — has drawn its first tenant, Medomak Woodworking LLC.
“Our goal is to add two to three additional businesses by the end of the year,” as well as utilize the surrounding acreage for agriculture, Hall told the paper.
Medomak Woodworking owner Jesse Collins makes custom cabinetry and furniture.
