State offices, Mainebiz take a break
State government offices — as well as Mainebiz — are closing as usual for the July Fourth holiday tomorrow, and will remain closed on Friday.
Gov. Janet Mills announced the closure in a news release last week. In Portland, City Manager Jon Jennings said municipal offices will also be closed Friday, although essential city services will continue that day.
The Mainebiz Daily Report will not be published tomorrow or Friday, and Mainebiz will not publish a Weekly Report on Friday. The Real Estate Insider will not be published on Thursday. The newsletters will resume their regular schedules next week.
Because of the brief hiatus, there will be no results recap of the current “Question of the Week,” but readers can visit the poll on the Mainebiz website to check out the balloting.
