Steve Rowe, Maine's attorney general for eight years, has joined Verrill Dana as an attorney in its Portland office
Steve Rowe, Maine's attorney general for the past eight years, has joined Verrill Dana LLP as an attorney in the firm's Portland office.
Rowe, a Portland resident, will join the firm's litigation and trial department and environmental department. "We are delighted to welcome Steve to Verrill Dana," Managing Partner K.C. Jones said in a statement. "He brings with him a reputation for sound judgment, integrity and collegiality, and a unique understanding of the state of Maine and the issues the state is facing."
Before his stint as the state's chief law enforcement officer, Rowe served as Speaker of the Maine House of Representatives. Rowe is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. He earned his MBA from the University of Utah and his law degree from the University of Maine. Before entering government, Rowe worked in both the legal and business departments of Unum.
