Jim Poole, the nine-hole golf course’s owner since 2003, has put the 77-acre property, which includes a house, and the Wrong Turn Pub restaurant and clubhouse, on the market after his move to Hawaii.
Sandy Preston, the town clerk in Kenduskeag told the Bangor Daily News that the property is evaluated at $625,260 and that the pub and house were constructed in 2007, replacing the original buildings constructed in the 1950s.
The 2,562 yard long, par 34 golf course that runs along the Kenduskeag Stream was also recently updated including the introduction of a new third green in 2012.
Kenduskeag is about 14 miles northwest of Bangor.
“We hope to keep it as a business in town,” Preston told the BDN. “It’s good for the town.”
