Three out-of-state cos. to visit Maine
Gov. Paul LePage said three out-of-state agriculture and manufacturing companies will visit Maine this month, the result of meetings he held during the U.S. Manufacturing Summit hosted by Walmart and the National Retail Federation in Florida last month.
The Associated Press reported Doug Ray, a spokesman for the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development, could not provide further details about the visiting companies. LePage told reporters previously that a beauty company from China and a rug manufacturer from Canada expressed interest in moving to Maine during the summit.
