Portland-based Tilson Technology Management said Friday it has acquired a firm in Fairhope, Ala., that will allow the network services company to continue growing in the Southeast.
Tilson said its acquisition of Magnolia Tower and Tech Services, which is a regional tower, small cell deployment and maintenance firm, is the company’s second acquisition in the Southeast since 2013. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
“Merging with the Tilson team allows us to maintain our quality and customer relationships, while having access to a bigger platform and additional resources,” James Dempsey, Magnolia’s principal, said in a statement. “We are thrilled to find a team that shares our values and is poised for growth here in the Southeast.”
Tilson said Magnolia’s team is now working at its existing office in Foley, Ala. The company said it has been experiencing record growth in the Southeast with its work deploying and maintaining networks for cellular carriers, Wi-Fi providers, utilities and public safety.
“Having the Magnolia field service team join us is allowing us to meet this growing demand without sacrificing quality or safety,” Joshua Broder, Tilson’s CEO, said in a statement.
