Tilson makes second W.D. Wright acquisition
Tilson, a Portland-based telecommunications company, has purchased the assets and wireless team of the Pennsylvania-based W.D. Wright Contracting Inc. for an undisclosed price.
Tilson President Joshua Broder said in a press release the acquisition is focused on expansion into the Mid-Atlantic to provide services for cellular carriers expanding 4G/LTE networks.
The latest acquisition comes after Tilson bought the Foley, Ala.-based arm of W.D. Wright in April. Through the deal, the company acquires a new warehouse, fleet vehicles and laydown area in Pittsburgh as well as cellular and microwave sites in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and Ohio.
The company says it has also added one position in at its Portland office to support the Mid-Atlantic expansion.
