The Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority plans to enter into lease talks with auto dealer Lee Auto Group, the Maine Technology Institute and Jaiden Landscaping, according to The Times Record. Jonathan Snell, president of Jaiden Landscaping, said his company has outgrown its current location in Durham and will likely add 10 to 12 jobs when it relocates. MTI President Betsy Biemann said her organization is interested in relocating after its lease in Gardiner expires in August, and Lee Auto Group is hoping to set up a temporary facility at the base while it builds and relocates to a new dealership in Topsham, a process that could take up to 18 months.
The organizations would join nine others that have opened or are slated to open at Brunswick Landing, as it will be named. Those tenants include Kestrel Aircraft, Bowdoin College, Southern Maine Community College, Molnlycke Health Care and American Bureau of Shipping.
