Trucks return to bridge
The Van Buren Port of Entry reopened today for trucks after being closed since May 1 due to damage suffered in heavy flooding.
Trucks will now be able to cross the St. John River from St. Leonard, New Brunswick to Van Buren, rather than detour through Madawaska and Hamlin,and return trade to pre-flood levels, according to the Bangor Daily News.
