Two Biddeford law firms have merged, and say that together they'll have greater strength in the real estate law arena.
Richard A. Hull III, a real estate attorney in Biddeford, merged his firm with Woodman Edmands Danylik Austin Smith & Jacques P.A., a full-service law firm in Biddeford’s downtown, according to a news release Monday.
The deal was effective Oct. 1.
Woodman Edmands is an eight-person law firm with a large general practice, including a busy real estate business. Meanwhile, Hull has been practicing real estate law in Biddeford since 1975.
The deal will provide institutional and individual clients with a single Biddeford firm to handle real estate needs, as well as a general practice to assist with estate planning, probate, family law and general litigation.
“We are excited to have Rick Hull merge his real estate practice with our firm,” said Woodman Edmands managing partner Ralph Austin. “Rick is a detail-oriented, experienced attorney who brings a number of highly skilled real estate support professionals to our firm.”
“We believe this merger makes Woodman Edmands the premier York County law firm in the area of real estate,” said firm president Bob Woodman.
Hull will be located at 409 Alfred St. in Biddeford, while the main office remains downtown at 234 Main St.
