Tyler Technologies plans to add hundreds of jobs
Texas-based Tyler Technologies plans to expand its office building in Yarmouth, which would allow it to create more than 500 new jobs over the next decade.
The Portland Press Herald reported that Portland-based architecture firm Mitchell & Associates recently submitted preliminary plans to the town of Yarmouth for a roughly 85,000-square-foot, four-story office building on Route 1 that would be connected to Tyler Technologies’ existing building. The proposed building is projected to cost about $15 million.
Tyler Technologies currently employs 525 people between its Yarmouth and Falmouth offices. The company specializes in software development for municipalities and other government agencies, providing a number of solutions, including software for dispatch systems.
