Wisconsin co. to build Lewiston VA clinic

A Wisconsin-based construction company has been tapped to build a new VA clinic in Lewiston.
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has awarded the contract to CD Smith Construction, which will begin work on the community-based outpatient clinic next spring, according to the Maine Public Broadcasting Network. The clinic, located near the Maine Turnpike exit, will provide primary care, mental health and physical therapy services, among other offerings.
The company is already working on a similar clinic in Bangor.
