Each year since 2009, Mainebiz has honored a group of women who have demonstrated leadership in wide-ranging sectors of business, health care and the nonprofit world.
To date, the Mainebiz Women to Watch program has honored nearly 75 leaders. This year, we honor the leaders of a Rockland theater, a Waterville startup, a Portland affordable housing organization, a biosciences trade group and a timber sports group.
A big part of Women to Watch is the reception for the honorees. This year, the reception and networking event will be Wednesday, Sept. 13, from 5-7 p.m., at Halo at the Point on Thompson's Point in Portland. Click here for more information.
Thanks to Mainebiz readers for the nominations that have resulted in this field of remarkable individuals. And congratulations to each of the 2023 Mainebiz Women to Watch.
