Office romance: Yea or nay?

With Valentine's Day on this week's calendar: Dating among colleagues was already discouraged in many places of employment even before the #MeToo movement, especially if one employee had authority over another. Some companies are more tolerant than others about employees dating, however, as long as it doesn't interfere with their jobs.

    Written into company policy between a manger and subordinate. Otherwise OK as long as it does not negatively impact the performance of either party and is consensual.
