    Not only does MEMIC have them on site, we offer periodic training in their use and encourage other employers to do the same. Though not often work-related, we too often receive news that employees of our 18,000 Maine policyholders have died from cardiac arrest at their place of work. These easy-to-use devices could truly have made a difference for some.

    Its easy to use: turn it on, someone call 911 and put the pads on while youre doing CPR, the machine will analyze rhythm, if shockable rhythm will tell you to clear—> shock given, and you go back to CPR right away. 911 arrives and takes over.
