The recession is already here! Walmart is overstocked by 32%, Target is overstocked by 25%, and diesel fuel prices are going to hit $10 a gallon by this Fall. It is not Putin, it is not Ukraine, it is not greedy oil companies...it is our elected officials. The great thing about this country is that we can vote every Senator and Congress person out of office this Fall and send a message to our elected officials.

The U.S. was energy independent 18 months ago, and now we are seeing what happens when our government shutters our domestic oil production. Every item we purchase is affected by higher energy costs and all of those items are shipped to us via transportation that requires fuel. Buckle up, and get ready for shortages of every type of good you purchase. Buy your Christmas gift now, while you can still get the products.

Clean energy sounds great but is way too costly at this point. In order to force this agenda on us they must make gas ridiculously expensive. However, they want us all to buy electric vehicles. How are we going to travel using an electric vehicle when there are not enough chargers around the USA to make this practical? How will we have enough electricity when we are told to expect rolling blackouts with just our current demand for electricity? How are we going to make these electric vehicles with no fossil fuels? How are we going to create enough electricity to charge everything without fossil fuels? Right now, alternative energy sources can't create enough electricity and what it can create is very expensive. This administration is forcing a change that can't work.

How can we not suffer another recession? The Fed spent us into oblivion and has no plan to stop

All of this is self-inflicted and was not a problem a short time ago under the previous administration. High energy prices and inflation caused by the printing of dollars and easy monetary policy are the primary problem. Yes, I want clean energy, but that technology takes years to develop. Forced adoption is impractical and reckless. The current administration is either tone deaf to pleas for commonsense answers and solutions or they would rather force their agenda on the nation. Elections have consequences.
