Being your own boss sounds great! Understand that the sleepless nights, personal financial risk, and the expanded responsibilities are all worth it. Get ready for the government to tax you at every opportunity. If you are an S-Corp you won't be getting the Gov. Mills stimulus check, and you will get to keep a fraction of what you make, and then they will take a huge portion when you sell. The government will take almost everything you make when all is said and done.
