An alternative path to work

With the average price of a gallon of gas in Maine now at $3.46, the high cost of private transportation is not abating. To help workers get to their jobs, Bath Iron Works is expanding commuter bus service between Lewiston and the shipyard. At the same time, the Aroostook Regional Transportation System is adding vehicles and routes to address transportation needs in the County.

    We don’t have availability of public transportation in Downeast Maine. Employees do carpool, however.
