One reason: the reopening of the Canadian border to pleasure travel. A summer meeting of the National Governors Association in Portland will also bring visitors to Maine.

This really depends on whether or not some get their wishes granted and they start closing things down again??? Corona viruses have been around for decades and will be around for decades more. We need to deal with it and move on.
