EqualityMaine has just adopted a new strategic plan, incorporating the following six strategic goals:
EqualityMaine’s events are planned throughout the year to engage allies and members of the LGBTQ+ community and are open to all. Check our website calendar for exact dates. Signature events include: December Holiday Party, Springtime Senior Symposium, June Pride Cruise on Casco Bay, August Summer Camp for LGBTQ+ youth, September Soirée, September Golf Outing, and Great Pumpkin Ball Halloween Party.
We rely on the support of our community and corporate partners.
Business and individual volunteers are what make our events so successful! All our events, as well as planned mailings throughout the year, offer opportunities for individuals and businesses to make a difference. Our event planning committees are fun and inclusive. If you or your team would like to help at any of the events, please let us know! If you’re looking for a team building project that makes a difference in the LGBTQ+ community – come on over!
