JMG

2023 Goals

JMG's goal is to seize on our unique position and expertise to deepen the connection between education and workforce development in order to reinforce and advance a system of post-secondary and career readiness that equally values knowledge and competencies, spanning the full range of essential skills that best serve and prepare students for success beyond high school. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds: low-income, students with disabilities, students experiencing the foster care system or homelessness and students who face inequities due to race, ethnicity, gender identity or personal, social and academic challenges. This year, JMG will serve a record 12,000 students throughout Maine’s 16 counties, with more than 160 school partnerships and community collaborations in 71 districts, with programs in 27 middle schools, 93 high schools, 7 career and technical education centers, and on 10 college campuses.

Fundraising/Event Opportunities

JMG's success is dependent on the involvement of hundreds of stakeholders and rests upon the strong foundation of an unwavering commitment to our core student-centered values. Because of JMG's action-driven culture, our relationship-based approach, an unwavering commitment to achieving positive outcomes on behalf of students and their families, and long-standing partnerships with public education and private employers JMG is in an exceptional position to bring the strength of our organizational fortitude and infrastructure to support Maine's top-tier educational and workforce development goals. For JMG students, these experiences often become touchstones for personal growth, and motivators for learning within school.

Giving Opportunities

JMG has many opportunities for business partners of all sizes to help support our students and engage employers within our programming. We have annual corporate sponsorship opportunities ranging from $500 to $10,000 that can be customized to meet the needs of your company. Additionally, there are opportunities for deeper long-term partnerships, such as our Workforce Liaison partnership with MaineHealth. These partnerships are customized for larger organizations to meet the needs of their talent acquisition teams by providing a single point of contact at JMG that directly connects your business to the youngest members of Maine's workforce. For more information about corporate partnerships, connect with Staci Beal, Innovation and Development Manager, at sbeal@jmg.org.
