The MaineShare Campaign is about community. We believe that we can make Maine a more healthy, vibrant, just and equitable place for all Mainers. But it takes all of us. This is where you come in! Join us in working towards these GOALS:
Engage: MaineShare engages Maine-based employers and workplaces across the state to support grassroots and nonprofit organizations working in their communities. This year our goal is to DOUBLE the number of workplace partners: Maine-based employers making the MaineShare Campaign a part of their workplace culture. Join now!
Connect: MaineShare connects individuals and businesses to a network of around 40 Maine-based nonprofits working on social, economic and environmental justice in Maine communities. Last year, we had 1,209 individual donors. Help us reach our goal of 1,500 individual donors in 2022!
Support: MaineShare provides general operating support to 40 grassroots, community-based nonprofits working to make Maine more just and equitable. Last year, we raised $261,138. We need you to reach our 2022 goal of $300,000!
Join the MaineShare campaign! Are you a Maine-based business/employer? Become a workplace partner! Over the past 30 years, more than 150 Maine-based employers have made the MaineShare Campaign a part of their workplace culture: supporting Maine-based nonprofits working on issues of social justice, economic justice and environmental justice in Maine. As a workplace partner, you will give your employees the opportunity to learn about, connect with, and support a network of 40 grassroots, and community-based nonprofit organizations here in Maine working to make our communities and our state more just and equitable! Contact Amanda Langley (amanda@maineinitiatives.org) to learn more and to sign up!
The MaineShare Campaign is an opportunity for your business to engage and express your values and commitment to social, economic and environmental justice. Every fall, the MaineShare Campaign works together with businesses like yours across the state to make it easy for its employees to learn about, connect with, and support nonprofit and grassroots member organizations making sustainable change in Maine communities. Through the MaineShare Campaign, workplaces provide their employees the opportunity to make recurring payroll deductions (or one-time donations) to support MaineShare organizations. No business is too small or too large to participate, and through these giving campaigns MaineShare has raised over $6.5 million for our member organizations since our inception over 30 years ago.
We know that there are many ways to give. For this reason, the MaineShare Campaign is also a great opportunity to develop relationships with Maine-based nonprofit organizations that can offer volunteer opportunities for your team members.
