Significant professional accomplishment: Doing a 180 and changing careers five years ago. My background and education is in speech-language pathology, and I specialized for the first part of my career in communication therapy for kids with complex special needs. My mom and I decided to go into business together in 2018 and it was a moment of, “We have to try it or we’ll regret it.” While it was a very hard decision walking away from a career I loved, it was an equally hard challenge to learn how to run a business for the first time.
Audacious goal: To help as many people and families as possible fall in love with our blankets. To make ChappyWrap the brand and product people think of when they think of cozy, comfort and home.
Passion project: I love finding ways to do good through our business and products. There are countless ways to provide comfort to those who need it through our cozy blankets — and over the years we have partnered with hospitals, homeless shelters, chemotherapy centers and so many more. Our most recent, and largest, partnership to date is with the American Cancer Society.

Favorite series: “Schitt’s Creek” is one of my all-time favorite feel-good shows.
How do you recharge: Morning walks on Higgins Beach with my husband, Drake, our kids and our dog.
