AOL plans Orono accounting center
Internet company AOL Inc. has plans for a financial analytics and accounting center in Orono, expected to employ at least 17 people.
The Bangor Daily News reported Peter DelGreco, president and CEO of Maine & Co., confirmed the company's move to Orono's Maine Technology Industrial Park and said the company is now recruiting for jobs there.
Neither DelGreco nor the company had a total number of employees to be hired at the new operation, but the company posted 17 jobs Friday at Jobsinme.com and at its corporate careers website.
The company did not announce a planned timeline for opening that center.
