Baker Newman Noyes has promoted Julie Paquette and Dan Gayer to principals in their respective practices in BNN’s Portland office.
Paquette, a Scarborough resident, joined BNN’s assurance practice in 2006. She specializes in the health care and nonprofit industries and serves clients.
Throughout her career, Paquette has worked with some of the largest health care clients at BNN. In addition, she is the lead on multiple benefit plans and uses her technical expertise on compliance audits. She is involved in both internal and external training and enjoys teaching and mentoring her staff.
Gayer joined the firm’s tax practice in 2011. He serves corporate clients across a variety of industries, particularly technology, manufacturing and distribution.
Gayer has a background in state and local tax, which has led him to advise many of the firm’s larger multi-state clients. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Harvard University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law.
