KahBang's annual music festival in Bangor is relocating to Portland for next month's event after rocking the Queen City's waterfront for five years.
The music festival, which is being held from Aug. 7-10, was advertised as being held in Bangor up until organizers announced on [DATE] that it was moving to Portland. [KahBang's art and film festivals are still being held at their orgianlly announced venues in Bangor.]
The festival's organizers announced staffing changes in May when they revealed indie rock act St. Vincent and best-selling rapper DMX would headline the festival's Friday, Aug. 7 show, according to the Bangor Daily News. Most notably, Timothy Lo stepped down as executive director to serve in an advisory role, with Creative Director Joshua Gass taking his place.
