Camden chamber hires interim director
Two months after the Camden-Rockport-Lincolnville Chamber of Commerce fired Executive Director Claire Adams, the chamber has hired an interim head.
Frank Morong yesterday began as the chamber's interim executive director while the organization continues to search for a permanent leader, according to the news website VillageSoup.com. Morong is taking over for Paul Kelley Jr., the chamber's director of operations and membership services, who has been handling day-to-day operations since early May.
The chamber's board still has not said why it decided to fire Adams.
