Cheers! Portland holds onto No. 2 in list of 'city for beer drinkers'
SmartAsset has once again ranked Portland No. 2 among U.S. cities for beer drinkers. Asheville, N.C., was the top-rated city, while Duluth, Minn., held the No. 3 spot.
Portland has long been known for its craft breweries. Now SmartAsset has once again ranked it No. 2 among U.S. cities for beer drinkers. Asheville, N.C., was the top-rated city, while Duluth, Minn., held the No. 3 spot. It’s the second year in a row Portland has had the runner-up position. Portland has the second-most breweries relative to its overall population: 25 breweries per 100,000 residents, and 17 overall, according to SmartAsset.
