Venture Solar was founded by Alex Yackery and Alex Giles after they worked in the solar industry in New York City for years, according to the company’s website. In 2015, they started out by themselves, in a 75-square-foot office.
Today, the company has seven offices on the East Coast, in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania and now Maine. The company employs over 400 professionals and has a growing customer base. Venture’s solar systems include high-efficiency panels and in-home monitoring controls.
The Biddeford facility, on 3.1 acres and including 18- to 22-foot ceiling heights, was built as an industrial/flex warehouse in 2001. The pre-engineered steel frame construction is in excellent condition.
The location is near Maine Turnpike Exit 32. There is ample on-site parking, according to the listing.
