Iconic Maine retailer L.L.Bean has formed a partnership with Flowfold, a Peaks Island company known for bags and wallets made from high-performance material.
They have joined forces to sell an exclusive line of products including tote and duffel bags, wallets and passport holders.
“We’ve been selling Flowfold products over the last year and they’ve proven to be a great seller and a real customer favorite, with lots of fantastic reviews. Folks appreciate the simple design, combined with innovative materials and designs,” Curt Nichols, corporate merchandise manager at L.L.Bean, said in a news release
The new line of products, which are constructed from the same lightweight and resilient material Flowfold has always made their products from, will be available at L.L.Bean’s flagship Freeport store and online.
And yes, Flowfold said in a news release that the collaborative product line will be available in L.L.Bean’s signature olive green color and will be covered by both the outdoor retailer’s 100% satisfaction guarantee and Flowfold’s lifetime warranty.
“L.L.Bean was founded on the backbone of making classic, long lasting, high functioning pieces that get people outside.” Devin McNeill, co-founder of Flowfold said in a statement. “You’d be hard pressed to find a more aspirational company and with this partnership we’ll work to carry that torch.”
