Ellsworth hospital plans $10M expansion
Maine Coast Memorial Hospital in Ellsworth is planning a $9.9 million expansion to its emergency ward.
The 24,100-square-foot, nine-room addition is intended to give the hospital added emergency capacity and to allow patients more privacy, reported the Ellsworth American.
The hospital will present the plan to the Ellsworth Planning Board August 6th. If the project is approved, construction will begin in October.
