Fairchild signs lease for new HQ
Fairchild Semiconductor has signed the lease for a new 90,000-square-foot, energy efficient office on Payne Road in Scarborough, across from the Gateway Shoppes development that houses the new Cabela's.
The company will move its headquarters from its current South Portland location to the three-story Gateway Square in the fall of 2009, according to a press release. The building is being developed by New England Expedition--Scarborough, which also developed the Scarborough retail center.
Construction is expected to begin this fall and take approximately one year, the release said.
