The Finance Authority of Maine (FAME) has hired two Maine natives who bring strong backgrounds to their new position.
Jonathan Poole has been hired as director of strategic growth. He previously worked at the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development and served in the U.S. Navy as a surface warfare officer on a destroyer in the Pacific. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy.
Sarah Nadeau-Balducci has been hired as deputy general counsel. She brings more than 10 years of experience in financial investigations and regulatory compliance to her new role.
Nadeau-Balducci previously worked as a criminal prosecutor and at an international investment bank, and has also worked as a law clerk for the Maine Judicial Branch.
“We are fortunate to have individuals with their strong backgrounds and talents helping Maine people pursue their business and higher education goals," said Carlos Mello, FAME's CEO.
