A foundation established by philanthropist and Burt's Bees co-founder Roxanne Quimby has donated approximately 100 acres to Acadia National Park.
The Maine Public Broadcasting Network reported that Lucas St. Clair, president of Elliotsville Plantation Inc. and son of Quimby, arranged the gift, which includes 13 separate parcels inside or adjacent to Maine’s sole national park.
