IT firm expands to new headquarters in Oakland

Maine Technology Group, a provider of managed IT, cybersecurity and hardware solutions for small and medium-size businesses, has moved its headquarters from Winslow to a new, larger location at 835 Kennedy Memorial Drive in Oakland.
The 6,000-square-foot office space, about 4 miles west of Winslow and just off Interstate 95, is designed to accommodate future business growth and the addition of marketing and technical staff. They include the recent hire of Sean Conerly of Waterville as business development manager, Maine Technology said in a news release.
The 11-person firm continues to operate in its Winslow facility, at 120 Augusta Road, and also has a satellite office in Bangor.
“Oakland was a natural fit given the success we’ve already seen in the region’s blossoming tech scene and talent pool,” said Scott MacDonald, Maine Technology chief executive officer and founder.
