KeyBank has promoted Meagan Calhoun to the position of area retail leader for southern Maine.
Calhoun will lead sales and service teams at 15 KeyBank branches, extending from Kittery in York County to Norway in Oxford County.
Calhoun was previously a branch manager in KeyBank's eastern Pennsylvania market. She will relocate to Portland for her new role.
Calhoun joined KeyBank in 2020 as a personal banker in the Lansdale, Pa., branch and was promoted to branch manager in 2021. She also served as a co-chair of the bank's eastern Pennsylvania Key4Women chapter, which offers leadership development, networking opportunities and financial resources to women business owners and managers.
Before joining KeyBank, she worked for Univest Bank in Pennsylvania and as an insurance sales representative with Allstate and State Farm.
Calhoun will report directly to KeyBank's Northeast regional retail leader, Louis Hoxha.
"Meagan is a high-performing leader, who has managed and developed successful branch teams and has a passion for serving clients and talent development," said Hoxha.
KeyBank is owned by KeyCorp. (NYSE: KEY), a Cleveland-based financial services company with assets of $188 billion as of Dec. 31, 2023.
In Maine, KeyBank is No. 5 among banks with the largest market share in the state, according to the 2024 Mainebiz Book of Lists. That ranking is based on $2.6 billion in Maine deposits as of June 30, 2023.
