Let there be chicken: Maine's inaugural Chick-Fil-A has an opening date
Maine’s first Chick-Fil-A, located near the Bangor Mall, will finally open its doors on Nov. 3, according to the company’s website.
Initial plans for the 4,974-square-foot restaurant at 663 Stillwater Ave. were announced at the end of July 2015, while Bangor city officials didn’t approve of construction until several months later in January 2016, according to the Bangor Daily News.
There are 2,000 Chick-Fil-A locations across the country. Other sites are set to open on Nov. 3, in Sterling, Va., and Frisco, Texas, according to the company’s website.
