Since joining the firm in 2018, Hart has provided general, commercial, and trust and estate litigation counsel to businesses and families throughout Maine and beyond. He regularly appears before state and federal trial and appellate courts in Maine and nationwide.
“I am thrilled to be a partner at a firm that provides quality, forward-thinking representation to all its clients, big and small,” Hart said. “Working with the wide array of talented Brann & Isaacson partners has provided me with incredible opportunities for professional growth. I look forward to many more years of building and maintaining Brann & Isaacson’s second-to-none litigation practice.”
Before joining Brann & Isaacson, Hart clerked for federal judges in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit. He has a bachelor's in government and legal studies from Bowdoin College.
Hart received his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School. There, he was the executive topics and comments editor for the University of Chicago Law Review.
Hart is co-chair of the Maine State Bar Association New Lawyers Section. Prior to that, he participated in the MSBA Leadership Academy, which works to develop future leaders among the bar in Maine.
Aside from his law practice, Hart is on the Community Advisory Board for MainePublic, the state’s public broadcasting entity. He also serves on the 1st Circuit local rules committee.
“Eamonn is an invaluable member of the Brann & Isaacson team,” said David Bertoni, another partner at the firm. “He has a passion for practicing law, a strong analytical mind, and, most importantly, he is a thoughtful, modest, and genuine person with whom it’s a pleasure to work.
"We look forward to many fun and interesting years working together to build upon and honor the firm’s unique legacy of professional excellence, integrity and Maine values.”
