Lewiston-based Maine Family Federal Credit Union and its board of directors have appointed Dan Clarke as the new president and CEO. He brings years of experience to the position.
Clarke took over in November for former CEO Rachel Caron, who retired in June.
“We are happy to welcome Dan Clarke into the Maine Family,” said Natalie Williamson, board chairperson. “Dan’s experience and knowledge within the credit union industry will no doubt help Maine Family FCU to new heights.”
Clarke has been in the credit union industry since 1988 and has held various roles. He most recently served as senior vice president and member experience at Service Credit Union, a large credit union in Portsmouth, N.H.
Clarke earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University and his master’s degree in finance from the New England College of Business.
“I am thrilled to be back in the Maine credit union community. I appreciate the warm welcome from the board, staff, and members, and I’m looking forward to delivering solutions to our members through any delivery channel they choose,” said Clarke.
Clarke can be reached at the Lewiston branch.
