Three months after Geiger acquired New York-based Broadway Marketing, the Lewiston-based promotional products company announced the acquisition of O2 Marketing + Design, of Pleasant Hill, Calif.
Terms were not disclosed, and information about the number of employees joining Geiger through the acquisition was not immediately available.
O2 Marketing will operate as O2 Marketing, a Geiger Company. Geiger, which says it is the world’s largest privately held promotional products distributor, lauded 02’s creative approach.

"The acquisition of O2 Marketing underscores our dedication to expanding our footprint, incorporating new insights and leveraging expertise — all while staying true to our core values."

Geiger is led by President and CEO Jo-An Lantz. She is the first non-relative in four generations to lead the family-owned enterprise, working her way up from an entry-level bookkeeping job after college to becoming president in June 2018 and CEO in early 2019.
The company's roots go back to 1878 in New Jersey. Geiger moved to Lewiston in 1955. Today, the company has offices across the United States and Europe and is affiliated with more than 450 independent sales representatives.
